Michael Glassner, the chief operating officer for President Donald Trump's 2020 campaign, announced on Monday that the campaign is preparing a lawsuit against former staffer Cliff Sims after he wrote a tell-all book about his time in the White House.

In a tweet on Tuesday, President Donald Trump revealed that Sims, author of Team of Vipers, had signed a non-disclosure agreement.

Glassner followed the president's tweet with a promise to sue Sims.

"The Trump campaign is preparing to file suit against Cliff Sims for violating our NDA," he wrote.

But legal experts say that non-disclosure agreement are likely not able to silence former White House officials.
