President Donald Trump on Tuesday claimed without evidence that "rank and file" FBI agents support his crusade against their bureau's leadership for investigating the president's potential ties to the Russian government.
"The rank and file of the FBI are great people who are disgusted with what they are learning about Lyin’ James Comey and the so-called 'leaders' of the FBI," the president wrote on Twitter. "Twelve have been fired or forced to leave. They got caught spying on my campaign and then called it an investigation. Bad!"

Trump has once again started lobbing grenades at the FBI after the New York Times revealed over the weekend that the bureau launched a probe to determine whether the president was acting at the behest of the Russian government.
Trump on Monday accused FBI leaders of being "scoundrels" and "dirty cops" for investigating his ties to Russia.
