President Donald Trump will meet with Congressional Democrats on Friday -- once again in the obscure location of the White House Situation Room.

Reuters correspondent David Shepardson reported the meeting will be held at 11:30 a.m.

On Wednesday, Trump met with House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi and Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer. When the president demanded that meeting take place in the Situation Room -- despite not being necessary -- many political observers speculated that was because cameras are not allowed in the room.

Earlier in December, Trump allowed cameras in the Oval Office when he was discussing the shutdown with Pelosi and Schumer.

"I'll tell you what, I am proud to shut down the government for border security, Chuck," Trump promised on December 11. "So I will take the mantle."

"I will be the one to shut it down. I'm not going to blame you for it," Trump promised.

Since then, Trump has reversed course and is now trying to blame Democrats for his shutdown.
