‘Covfefe II’: Internet hilariously mocks Trump’s bizarre retweet of leopards video

Published

on

It’s unclear if President Donald Trump meant to retweet a video of wild leopards, but on Tuesday night that’s exactly what happened.

The president promoted a video posted by @planetepics, who shared the video from wildlife conservationist Lisa Tora Jaqueline Kytösaho.

The post was ironic, according to one person, because his son has a proclivity for shooting such animals

The president then followed up with tweets from the White House. It’s the second time in 24 hours that Trump has brought up animals. He discussed his decision to get a dog to help with his image while at a rally in El Paso, Texas. The crowd cheered on the idea that he should get one, but he was concerned about how he might look walking the dog on the White House lawn.

Some speculated it was a staffer ghost-tweeting for the president, who accidentally forgot to change their accounts.

While speaking to the Economic Club of New York on Tuesday, President Donald Trump praised his daughter Ivanka, who he claimed had "created 14 million jobs."

"We launched the Pledge to America’s Workers, Trump explained, "367 private sector partners are providing more than 14 million skills and career training opportunities for U.S. Workers."

Trump then gave Ivanka Trump credit for the jobs.

'My daughter, Ivanka, that’s all she wants to talk about," he said. "I say, 'Ivanka, can we please talk something about.' [Ivanka replies,] 'No. I met with Wal-Mart.'"

Trump added: "When she started this 2 1/2 years ago, her goal was 500,000 jobs. She’s now created 14 million jobs."

A senior State Department official has been caught falsifying her qualifications -- and even created a phony Time magazine cover with her own face on it.

Chang, who joined the State Department in April, was connected to the administration by Brian Bulatao, a top official in the State Department and longtime friend of Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.

A key witness in Roger Stone's trial gave a first-hand account of President Donald Trump discussing WikiLeaks dumps with Roger Stone.

Stone, a longtime Trump associate and GOP operative, is standing trial on charges of obstructing justice, witness tampering and lying to the U.S. House of Representatives Intelligence Committee as part of the probe of Russian interference in the election.
