The View's Meghan McCain solidified her reputation as the show's heel on Monday, when she openly applauded California Democratic Senator Dianne Feinstein for yelling at schoolchildren who confronted her about climate change last Friday.

"What the hell, I love Dianne Feinstein now," said McCain, grinning broadly. "I loved everything about it and I'm in the minority on this. I really hate when people use children as political props in general."

McCain recalled Jonathan Krohn, who at age 13 spoke at the 2009 Conservative Political Action Conference.

"He was like the new young conservative voice," she said. "He made cable appearances and later on as an adult he said he was naive, he was just saying the stuff he had heard for a long time and said I shouldn't have done that speech, it was a bad idea."

McCain acknowledged that children need to "make their own political decisions" and said it was wrong to "shame" Feinstein for her harsh response.

"She has been doing this for 30 years," she said. "I don't agree with her politically but she makes a lot of good points."
