Rep. Joaquin Castro (D-TX) blasted Rep. Matt Gaetz for being "immature" in his tweet that was widely regarded to be felony witness intimidation.
Speaker Nancy Pelosi hinted at the Ethics Committee investigating Gaetz's tweet.
"You're the only member of Congress we have in this hour, so I've got to ask you about this breaking news story about Congressman Gaetz tweeting what clearly appears to be a threat to Michael Cohen about his testimony tomorrow," O'Donnell noted.
The host read a tweet on the matter by Rep. Bill Pascrell, Jr. (D-NJ).
"Do you believe -- at a minimum -- the House has to investigate this?" O'Donnell asked.
"Yeah, I do think they have to take a look at it," Castro replied.
"I think Matt Gaetz is mostly immature, unfortunately," he continued. "But yes, they should take a look at it and it's almost an attempt at witness tampering."
