On Wednesday, comedian Stephen Colbert joked that President Donald Trump was acting like "Putin's pet" during the State of the Union address.
During the speech, Trump said that there cannot be peace in America if he is being investigated.
"If there is going to be peace and legislation, there cannot be war and investigation," Trump said.
"I think that's kind of cute," Colbert joked. "He threatened our democracy with a little poem."
Colbert continued to mock Trump for diving into the "literally arts" and for his repetitive use of "alliterations."
Colbert joked that Trump was rambling as if he was "Putin's pet president."
