In a pre-State of the Union lunch, Donald Trump reportedly criticized the late Sen. John McCain and other of his opponents.

The New York Times reported that Trump made fun of McCain's book at the lunch for TV anchors at the White House earlier on Tuesday.

“By the way,” the president said, “he wrote a book and the book bombed.”

Trump also reportedly called Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) a "nasty son of a b*tch" and made fun of Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam (D) for "choking like a dog" at a press conference about his blackface yearbook photo over the weekend.

He also said that he hopes former Vice President Joe Biden is his 2020 presidential challenger because he believes the Delaware Democrat is unintelligent.

“I hope it’s Biden,” Trump said. “Biden was never very smart. He was a terrible student. His gaffes are unbelievable. When I say something that you might think is a gaffe, it’s on purpose; it’s not a gaffe. When Biden says something dumb, it’s because he’s dumb.”
