Even though Friday was International Women's Day, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) found herself being attacked online.
Ocasio-Cortez says she has been targeted by "GOP troll groups" that are aiming to stir up news and false talking points about her.
She took to Twitter to voice some of her frustration.
"In case you’re curious about where the sudden flood of bogus ethics 'complaints' and fake 'scandals' are coming from, GOP troll groups are filing a ton of random claims," she tweeted.
Adding, "There’s already a dark-money operation aimed at me just 2 months into my job - happy #InternationalWomansDay."
