Mimi Rocah, a former US Attorney for the Southern District of New York, said she sees a criminal investigation in the future of Li "Cindy" Yang, the Trump-linked founder of the Florida spa chain where Patriots owner Robert Kraft was arrested last month.
Rocah made her comments in response to a Mother Jones report accusing Yang of selling access to Donald Trump to the Chinese that came after photos of the spa owner posing with the president, his sons and other Republican figures.
"This [takes] the whole posing for pictures scandal to the next level," the former prosecutor tweeted. "Seems like a lot of potential criminal conduct."
"Next step: how and why did she have access?" Rocah added. "I see subpoenas in her future."
