Prominent Republican lawyer George Conway on Saturday thrashed President Donald Trump for lying -- and even gave the president a new nickname.
Conway, who is married to White House counselor Kellyanne Conway, fact-checked Trump after he claimed "major sections of the wall are being built" while attacking far-right gadfly Ann Coulter.
S.V. Dáte, White House correspondent for the Huffington Post, corrected Trump's claim.
"No, 'major sections of Wall' are not being built," Dáte fact-checked. "That is a lie."
"Exactly," Conway said. "It’s a brazen and ridiculous lie, repeated over and over and over and over again, to cover the fact that he was asleep at the switch for two years."
He also used the hashtag #SummaCumLiar, using Latin to nickname Trump as the highest liar.
But Conway did not stop there.
