Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) has been one of President Donald Trump's staunchest supporters, defending the President against claims that his campaign colluded with Russia.
Last weekend, Attorney General William Barr released a brief summary of the report, concluding that there was not enough evidence of collusion. While Trump and his allies claim the report exonerates the President, Barr explicitly noted that the Mueller report did not exonerate Trump on charges of obstruction of justice.
MSNBC anchor Lawrence O'Donnell unearthed an 1990s clip of Graham demanding the impeachment of Bill Clinton -- for far less serious charges.
“While this report does not conclude that the president committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him.” Graham thundered in Congress. Reporter Khary Penebaker noted on Twitter that Graham wanted to impeach Clinton based on far less evidence of wrongdoing than Trump.
