Comedian Gary Owen called out Delta Airlines after his wife Kenya Duke and daughter were racially discriminated against by an employee.

Owen’s detailed the situation in an Instagram post over the weekend.

“So, this morning, my wife and daughter were flying from Cincinnati, Ohio to San Francisco, California on Delta. 7:20 AM, Gate B21. So, they tell everybody to line up for first [class],” Owens explained. “My wife gets in line, and the guy working the gate at B21, Cincinnati Airport asks my wife, ‘Oh, are you in first?’ And my wife said, ‘Yeah, I am.’ And then my wife said, ‘Are you not gonna ask the guy behind me?’ And he goes, ‘No.’ My wife said, ‘Why?’ He said, ‘Cause I don’t feel like it,'” the post states.

He then explained that the Delta employee did not ask any other person in line about their status.

“Now my wife’s a Black lady. The guy behind her’s a white dude, and the ticket agent was a white dude. But he asked the Black lady, ‘Are you in first?’ But not the white dude. So, Delta – I have almost 3 million miles with you. When you see this lady, that’s my wife. She flies first. Don’t ask.”

During a segment with Justin Haskins, a "research" fellow at the far-right climate denial think tank, the Heartland Institute, Fox News host Tucker Carlson disparaged the idea of "climate migrants" who might need asylum from conditions caused by climate change — and escalated to an extreme, racist rant against accepting migrants at all.

"I thought, according to Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren and everybody else on the socialist left, that human beings are causing climate change, that human CO2 emissions, that that's what's causing climate change, that it's going to be catastrophic" said Haskins. "Well if that's true, then why are we bringing people from all over the world, where they produce CO2 emissions less per person, in places like Mexico and Guatemala, places like that, why are we bringing them to the United States, where we produce CO2 emissions per person at a much higher rate?"

On Monday evening, former President Jimmy Carter was admitted to Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.

Carter, aged 95, is reportedly being treated for pressure on his brain due to bleeding — a complication from recent falls. His condition is currently unknown.

Carter, who served as president from 1977 to 1981, has placed a strong emphasis on humanitarian work in his years after leaving office, in many cases going to physically build homes with Habitat for Humanity despite his advanced age. He has suffered numerous health issues in later years, including surviving cancer, and often allows himself little time for recovery from these episodes before returning to his postpresidency works.
