Actor Rob Lowe believes filming a sex tape with a 14-year-old girl would have helped his career if had happened later, Page Six reported Tuesday.
Lowe was twenty-four when he filmed a sex tape with a 16-year-old girl while staying in Atlanta to support Michael Dukakis at the 1988 Democratic National Convention.
The "Brat Pack" actor discussed his infamous sex tape on the "WTF Podcast with Marc Marion.
“The real f–k up was that I didn’t wait 20 years later to do it where it would have helped my career,” Lowe argued.
At the time, his career floundered and Dukakis lost.
Lowe was ultimately saved by Lorne Michaels, who allowed Lowe to host "Saturday Night Live" and be spanked by the Church Lady.
