President Donald Trump on Saturday lashed out at far-right gadfly Ann Coulter.

In December, Trump "unfollowed" Coulter on Twitter after she referred to him as "gutless" on getting his border wall built, despite the fact that Mexico would not pay for the wall.

“On the basis of his self-interest alone, he must know that if he doesn’t build the wall, he has zero chance of being re-elected and a 100 percent chance of being utterly humiliated,” Coulter wrote. “He’s in trouble now. As absurd as the Russia nonsense is, the details about Trump’s sleazy associates, the porn star, the Playboy playmate and his seedy business practices leave his supporters feeling queasy, even if he hasn’t committed any crimes.”

Following the feud, Trump shut down the federal government to appear like he was fighting for the wall. After setting the record for the longest government shutdown in United States history, Trump reopened government despite not having received money for his wall.

On Saturday, Trump again fought with the conservative pundit.

"Wacky nut job Ann Coulter, who still hasn’t figured out that, despite all odds and an entire Democrat Party of far left radicals against me (not to mention certain Republicans who are sadly unwilling to fight), I am winning on the Border," Trump claimed.

"Major sections of wall are being built and renovated, with much more to follow shortly," Trump inaccurately argued. "Tens of thousands of illegals are being apprehended (captured) at the border and not allowed into our Country."

"I am stopping an invasion as the wall gets built," Trump argued.
