Attorney General Bill Barr's team within the Department of Justice is reportedly frustrated with former special counsel Robert Mueller, The New York Times reported Wednesday.

The bombshell report detailed how some on Mueller's team are worried that the Attorney General misled the American people with his summary of the Mueller report.

"At the same time, Mr. Barr and his advisers have expressed their own frustrations about Mr. Mueller and his team," The Times reported. "Barr and other Justice Department officials believe the special counsel’s investigators fell short of their task by declining to decide whether Mr. Trump illegally obstructed the inquiry, according to the two government officials."

Barr may be the reason Mueller did not make a decision, as the special counsel would have needed his permission to either subpoena Trump or charge him criminally.
