Pastor Franklin Graham, one of the country’s most recognizable evangelical Christians, is facing a backlash for praising First Lady Melania Trump shortly after denouncing the alleged “sins” of Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg.
Graham on Friday wished Melania a happy birthday, declaring she was the “classiest first lady our country has ever had.”
His praise for the first lady comes a few days after he lashed out at Buttigieg, demanding that he repent and not “flaunt” being gay.
“Mayor Buttigieg says he’s a gay Christian. As a Christian I believe the Bible which defines homosexuality as sin, something to be repentant of, not something to be flaunted, praised or politicized. The Bible says marriage is between a man & a woman—not two men, not two women,” Graham tweeted.
Graham followers were quick to point out that Melania had posed in the nude several times as a model, sometimes depicting same-sex scenes with another woman.
Because posing naked is so classy.

Alleged “Christian” praises nude model as “classier” than Barbara Bush, Laura Bush, Michelle Obama, Jackie O, Abagail Adams, Eleanor Roosevelt etc. etc etc

Rev Franklin, this is why people regard you and other Christians as hypocrites. Had Melania been a Democrat or a Dem politician’s wife and posed nude, in a sexual context with another woman, you’d be chewing her a new one.

Other Twitter users criticized Graham for hurting the evangelical movement by endorsing Trump.
Actions speak louder than words sir: Politics is your idol.

Your troll game is on point. I mean, it’s a bummer that it’s doing such terrible damage to the faith of others—but maybe that’s a small price to pay to troll so hard?

What is wrong with you? I really admire your father. However, I cannot believe how much support you give to the Trump’s. Are you on their payroll? Stick with the preaching and get off twitter.
