On Tuesday, CNN's Jake Tapper's panel railed against Attorney General Bill Barr for dodging questions during his Congressional hearing.

This was Barr's first Congressional hearing since he released his summary of special counsel Robert Mueller's report, which he said revealed that President Donald Trump did not criminally conspire with Russia in the 2016 presidential election.

"Barr clearly did entertain questions about the Mueller report, but there's one big question that he dodged," Tapper said.

Barr dogged the following questions during his hearing from Rep. Nita Lowey (D-NY.)

"Did the White House see the report before you released your summarizing letter? Has the White House seen it since then? Have they been briefed on the contents beyond what was in your summarizing letter to the Judiciary Committee?"Lowey asked.

Barr responded by saying, "I've said what I'm going to say about the report today."

"Why not answer those questions?" Tapper asked.

"I think he's always been a biased narrator. He was not only a Trump appointee, but he is also someone who has defended a number of the actions under investigation by the Mueller team," Jen Psaki, former White House Communications Director under Barack Obama said.

"He's still protecting Trump and I think that's clear here. The redactions, that debate is going to continue, as we all know, as Democrats and Chairman Nadler have indicated," she added.
