House Judiciary chair slams AG Barr for not releasing Mueller report until hours after his press conference

House Judiciary Committee Chair Jerry Nadler (D-NY) slammed Attorney General Bill Barr for playing politics with the release of special counsel Robert Mueller's report.

President Donald Trump revealed on Wednesday that Barr would hold a 9:30 a.m. EST press conference on the Mueller report.

Nadler revealed that the report would not be publicly released until Thursday afternoon.

"So why is the AG holding a press conference tomorrow morning to go over the Mueller report?" Nadler wondered.

"I’m deeply troubled by reports that the [White House] is being briefed on the Mueller report ahead of its release," Nadler said.

"Now, DOJ is informing us we will not receive the report until around 11/12 tomorrow afternoon — AFTER Barr’s press conference. This is wrong," Nadler wrote.
