On Wednesday, White House reporters noted that Energy Secretary Rick Perry is in talks with President Donald Trump about leaving his position:

Perry, a former governor of Texas, is one of the few remaining Cabinet secretaries who has served in Trump’s administration since the beginning, despite controversy over the fact that he didn’t initially know the department he was taking over was in charge of storing nuclear weapons.
It is not yet clear when Perry will leave, or who Trump will tap as his replacement.
Perry’s reported imminent departure comes shortly after Trump instituted a massive shakeup at the Department of Homeland Security, dismissing Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen and several high-ranking officials at the agency.
