President Donald Trump is once again receiving harsh criticism for attacking a deceased Republican.
Many people were revolted by Trump’s repeated attacks on former Sen. John McCain (R-AZ).
On Thursday, Trump started another fight with a target who is unable to respond.
The commander-in-chief sat down for an exclusive Oval Office interview with Washington Times columnist Charles Hurt.
“I have heard that she was nasty to me, but she should be. Look what I did to her sons,” Trump told the right-wing newspaper.
The internet was outraged — again — that Trump would attack a deceased leader of his own political party.

He’s a modern Shakespearean damaged king, sitting in the royal loo tweeting about ghosts… The visitations may have already begun…

Nursing grudges against the dead is not a sign of mental health—with McCain, this is now twice in a month.
Perhaps someone hears the soft footfall in the night.

The boy is an empty suit, only capable of dominance or submission, grievance and vengeance. A severe personality disorder that is impossible for the #WorstPresidentEver to hide.

Funny. I’ve read that she didnt like him long before the 2016 election. But Trump thinks his dad was born in Germany so I’m assuming hes not working off the whole story.

Pretty cool how Trump has exposed the gross spinelessness of the Republican party so thoroughly that he can keep insulting dead icons of theirs and they just have to shut up and take it. https://t.co/pbp1s4FNJO

Another iteration of Trump reminding Republicans that he owns them by attacking someone who is not only dead, but is widely revered in the party. https://t.co/huSO0457cj
