Fox News host Shep Smith stunned by Bill Barr hearing: Did he even read the Mueller report?

Fox News host Shepard Smith on Wednesday questioned whether Attorney General Bill Barr had actually read all of special counsel Robert Mueller's report on Russian interference in 2016.

"I would be interested to know if the attorney general has read it, because his memory of many matters was either clouded or there were times when some legal analysts suggested that it seemed to them like he might have just been briefed by staff," he remarked.

Smith's guest, legal analyst from Jeffrey Cramer, said that Barr has been acting more as a defense lawyer for President Donald Trump than as the attorney general.

"He was doing the president’s bidding. He was letting the president off the hook," Cramer said.
