President Donald Trump's former fixer Michael Cohen is set to start three-year prison term.
But Cohen appears satisfied with his decision to turn on President Donald Trump.
"I had a mission that I needed to fulfill," Cohen told comedian Tom Arnold in a March 25 phone conversation, reports ABC News. "I needed to get the truth out there."
Cohen noted that his decision had not been easy, having been so close to the Trumps for so long.
"It's very hard when you spend 10 years taking care of somebody and their family," Cohen said. "Look, I always knew, you know, who he was and what he was and so on."
Cohen was implicated in facilitating large payments to adult film star Stormy Daniels and model Karen McDougal from Donald Trump so the women would not speak out about affairs with the President ahead of the 2016 election.
