On Friday, comedian Stephen Colbert mocked people who refuse to get vaccinated and explained that they might be influenced by Russian trolls online.

He started the segment by quoting a CBC report that says more than 700 people have been infected with measles.

"People aren't vaccinating against it," he said. "What is wrong with you. This might the scariest news I have ever hear."

"People aren't sure if they want to be immune from disease," he added.

He then went on to explain how "Russian trolls" promoted anti vaccination with "propaganda."

"Are you telling me that Russian trolls help promoted a devastating disease that can weaken our nation?" he said.
