Trump lackey Corey Lewandowski appeared on CNN Wednesday one day after he admitted to regularly telling lies during media appearances — and host Alisyn Camerota gave him a thorough grilling.
During the interview, Camerota played Lewandowski a clip of himself telling the House Judiciary Committee that he is under no obligation to be honest when he appears on cable news shows.
Lewandowski responded to this by angrily ranting about former FBI officials James Comey and Andrew McCabe, but Camerota wouldn’t let him off the hook.
“Corey, when do you lie?” she asked him. “Are you lying now, for instance?”
“I’m as honest as I can be with you,” Lewandowski replied.
“Corey, that’s not good enough,” she shot back. “That’s not good enough. You told congress under oath yesterday that you only feel obligated to tell the truth under oath.”
Lewandowski at this point went back to attacking Comey and McCabe, at which point Camerota shut him down again.
“The reason this is important is because we need to know when you’re lying and when you’re not, and we need to know when the administration is lying and when it’s not,” she said.
Lewandowski responded that this was an unfair question because he technically doesn’t work at the White House.

Trump spokesperson resorts to insulting CNN host in off-the-rails interview over president’s tax scandal
A CNN interview with Trump campaign communications director Tim Murtaugh quickly turned into a shouting match after host Jim Sciutto peppered him with questions about the president's federal tax avoidance that was comprehensively covered in a New York Times report.
Ostensibly brought on to discuss Tuesday night's debate between Trump and Democratic challenger Joe Biden, Sciutto attempted to get answers from Murtaugh to questions his colleague Poppy Harlow couldn't get a Trump White House spokesperson to answer on Monday in an equally contentious interview.
Ana Navarro goes off on Ivanka after Trump defender tries to drag Hunter Biden into debate discussion
During a CNN panel discussion on tonight's debate between Donald Trump and Democratic challenger Joe Biden, a former adviser to the president suggested Biden's son, Hunter, should be fair game for attacks which led fellow panelist Ana Navarro to give him a lesson in the first daughter's corruption and the president's possible legal problems.
With "New Day" hosts John Berman and Alisyn Camerota looking on, David Urban said he expected Hunter Biden would be used against his father during the debate.
"If the president brings up Hunter Biden as we have heard some suggest he will repeatedly, how do you think Joe Biden should respond?" Urban challenged Navarro.
WATCH: Ex-Trump adviser clashes with CNN’s Alisyn Camerota over New York Time’s tax bombshell
On CNN Tuesday, Republican lobbyist and former Trump adviser David Urban tried to talk over anchor Alisyn Camerota to dispute the bombshell tax story in The New York Times — and Joe Biden strategist and Never-Trump conservative Ana Navarro-Cárdenas promptly mocked him.
"He's not going to increase your taxes or take away your guns," said Urban. "He's not going to do all of the things that Joe Biden and the Democratic platform says he's going to do. With respect to taxes, I just want to point out I made a graphic of what you had up earlier. He paid 1 million bucks in 2016."
