Video shows Jewish woman apparently being denied entry to bathroom at Oakland coffee house

Video circulating social media purportedly shows employees at a coffee house in Oakland, California, denying a Jewish woman entry into the restroom because she wanted to document anti-Israel graffiti that was written inside.

The video starts out showing three employees of Farley's Coffee East apparently blocking the woman, who is said on the video to be Jewish, from entering the restroom. As the woman records with her phone, she asks why she's not allowed in, to which one of the employees responds: "I know Israel loves taking private property and saying it's their own, but we gotta have you leave."

James Comer is 'getting played' as he chases after Hunter Biden: legal expert

On Thursday morning, CNN legal analyst Elie Honig laughed at House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R) for getting "played" by Hunter Biden and his lawyer as the Kentucky Republican tries to force him to testify out of view of the public.

Speaking with host John Berman, Honig was asked about Comer threatening the son of President Joe Biden with contempt of Congress if he refuses to appear for a closed-door deposition, with the younger Biden stating he is more than willing to appear as long as it is done in full view of America.

As Honig sees it, Comer has" painted himself into a corner" by demanding Hunter Biden appear only to have the president's son put him in an awkward position.

"So James Comer, the House Oversight Committee Chair has really gotten played here," Honig told the host. "He's played himself into a corner."

"Let me explain how," he continued. "James Comer serves the subpoena on Hunter Biden saying we demand your testimony but behind closed doors, confidentially, not in front of the public. Hunter Biden and his team, I think smartly, respond he's happy to testify but in public for everyone to see on camera. And Representative Comer then responds and says 'No, I don't want you testifying publicly. I only want you confidentially.' Who has something to hide here?"

"Now Comer is saying, 'If you don't testify privately, I might hold you in contempt,'" he added. "Representative Comer and the House of Representatives do have the power to hold Hunter Biden in contempt — it will take a majority of the full House. If that happens it goes to the DOJ, which will decide whether or not to prosecute the case for contempt and we've seen Steve Bannon and Peter Navarro prosecuted. There's zero percent chance the DOJ will prosecute when the person 100 percent will testify publicly. It's symbolic, that's all."

'You sound like an idiot': CNN panel shreds GOP candidate for going 'full QAnon'

A CNN panel on Thursday shredded GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy for spreading a wide array of conspiracy theories during this week's Republican presidential debate.

The discussion started after CNN played a clip from the debate in which Ramaswamy asserted that the January 6th Capitol riots were an "inside job," that the United States government had been covering up the truth about the 9/11 terrorist attacks, and that the "Great Replacement" theory endorsed by white supremacists was a real plot being enacted by the Democratic Party.
