Attorney General Pam Bondi was brutally mocked online over her combative testimony on Wednesday.
Bondi, who was testifying during the House Judiciary Committee hearing on Capitol Hill, had fiery exchanges with multiple lawmakers over their questions about several ongoing matters, including the Jeffrey Epstein files and survivors, the immigration enforcement killings of two American citizens in Minneapolis, and the Department of Justice's actions against President Donald Trump's enemies.
Users on social media had reactions to the explosive and bizarre moments, name-calling, and shouting throughout the testimony.
"Pam Bondi is talking about the stock market in front of women who have been assaulted by Epstein. What a piece of s---," influencer Jared Shult wrote on X.
"Pam Bondi has become everyone’s drunk uncle," novelist Chris Bohjalian wrote on X.
"The courage Rep. Thomas Massie is showing right now matters. While his Republican colleagues are trying to cover for Trump and Epstein, and Pam Bondi is making an absolute mockery of the Office of the Attorney General, Massie is standing for truth. Pam Bondi must be removed, and these predators must meet justice. When I am elected to the Senate, that’s exactly what we’re going to do," Charles Booker, former Kentucky state representative and current Senate candidate, wrote on X.
