DEARBORN, Michigan — Ford Motor Co. Executive Chairman Bill Ford on Monday called for an end to the United Auto Workers' 32-day-old strike, warning that the stakes of what he characterized as "acrimonious" contract talks are nothing short of the future of the U.S. auto industry.
