Rep. Brian Jack (R-Georgia) recently addressed a group of high school students in Washington, DC, and he was caught off guard when one of them asked a question about President Donald Trump's physical appearance.

The student asked Jack, "Why is he so orange?"

The GOP congressman responded, "Uh, you know what? It, it's your perspective. It isn't certainly mine. I just think he has a great tan."

Jack's response is receiving a lot of responses on X, formerly Twitter.

Drummer and progressive X user Richard Angwin tweeted, "Why dodge the question? Trump's orange hue is a public fact, not a perspective. Maybe focus on policy instead of makeup choices?"

X user Maxwell Black joked, "Because he likes to ah peel."

Another X user, David Twerkowitz, posted, "Do they think they don't have eyes? His face looks like where the Mississippi meets the ocean."

Meghan McCarthy, who publishes the women's health newsletter Maternie, wrote, "Imagine being so cowed by Trump that you deny reality to children."

Registered nurse and self-described "animal advocate" Linda Williams wrote, "His makeup looks like the color of an end stage cirrhosis patient. Why CHOOSE to look like that??"
