President Donald Trump’s long-running war with the federal judiciary may be nearing a breaking point, as former conservative judge Michael Luttig warned the administration is headed for a sweeping legal reckoning. Speaking on the Legal AF podcast, Luttig said federal judges are increasingly pushing back after months of watching Trump officials ignore court orders and attack the courts. He argued that collapsing public support for the administration has emboldened judges to enforce the law without fear, triggering what he described as a rapidly building wave of rulings that Trump and his allies may no longer be able to outrun.
