President Donald Trump threw a profanity-laden temper tantrum in the Oval Office over his failure to end the Iran war, an inside source reported.
Late Thursday night, Trump called Iranian leaders "scumbags" and "lunatics" while "unleashing a series of expletives," according to The Wall Street Journal.
"Trump is increasingly frustrated that a conflict he once thought would be over in a matter of weeks has dragged on with no end in sight," the outlet wrote.
"Some of Trump’s advisers now worry that the war—which has resulted in higher prices, falling approval ratings and the deaths of more than a dozen U.S. service members—is consuming his presidency."
Trump's frustration stems from his inability to negotiate the lasting peace he promised after launching the war without Congressional permission, the journal explained.
The memorandum of understanding with Iran, signed in June, lasted just over a month.
The report also claimed a senior administration official explained Trump believes military force is the only language Iran understands, adding, Trump is in "revenge mode" against Tehran.
