Fox News host Rachel Campos-Duffy walked back a comment live on-air Monday after she called longtime television personality Van Jones a "communist."
Campos-Duffy took a moment during the broadcast to clarify what she said — and did not apologize for it.
"I said that Van Jones was a communist — I guess he’s a former communist just like Karen Bass says she used to be a communist but she was trained in the fields and in the youth brigade in Cuba. So we'll see. He says he's not a communist anymore. OK," she said.
The move comes after Campos-Duffy said earlier Monday that Jones was a "communist" and "power-seeking person," which she later corrected during the segment.
