DETROIT — The Great Lakes Shipwreck Historical Society is mourning the death of Gordon Lightfoot, a Canadian folk singer-songwriter whose hit "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" commemorates the 1975 Lake Superior shipwreck.
