'Getting slammed!' Trump rages at CNN and NYT for trying to 'demean' Iran strike

President Donald Trump unloaded a late-night tirade Tuesday against multiple top media outlets whom he accused of trying to "demean" what he called one of the "most successful military strikes in history," referring to the U.S. bombing of three Iranian nuclear facilities.

After Trump's Middle East envoy melted down on Fox News over the leaking of an intelligence report to CNN, Trump himself blasted CNN, along with The New York Times, which also received the top secret report. The initial U.S. intelligence assessment undercut Trump's boast that Iran's nuclear program had been "obliterated."

MAGA senator makes stunning U-turn after fierce opposition to GOP Medicaid cuts

After months of leading the charge against Medicaid cuts in the GOP’s reconciliation bill, Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) now appears to have suddenly changed his tune.

Once the Senate’s most vocal opponent of any Medicaid reductions, Hawley now says he’d “be fine” with most of the proposed cuts, as long as one key provision gets fixed, according to a new report in NOTUS.

Architect of massive Medicaid cut never paid back own PPP loan: report

A key strategist behind Republicans' push to cut over half a trillion dollars from Medicaid by imposing new supposed anti-fraud controls has himself benefited massively from a federal program with virtually no oversight, Politico reported on Tuesday evening.

"Brian Blase is president of Paragon Health Institute, which has taken on a high-profile role in the effort in Congress to slash Medicaid costs through work requirements and other reforms," said the report. Blase has previously "called Medicaid America’s 'most flawed' entitlement program while advocating for changes that would reduce spending on the program by hundreds of billions of dollars."

'They got a problem': GOP just got hit with 'mathematical double-whammy'

Senate Republicans face a major problem with President Donald Trump's megabill: "a mathematical double-whammy," according to a new report.

The Senate version of Trump's megabill is roughly $400 billion more expensive than the version that the House of Representatives passed. That could force Senators to include deeper cuts to programs like Medicaid, which some moderate members of the GOP see as a political liability.

'There’s a lot happening': FedEx sees huge shipping declines amid Trump tariffs

FedEx has seen massive declines in shipping across the Pacific Ocean amid fallout from President Donald Trump's trade war, according to a report.

The company projects its revenue will be flat or increase up to 2% in its fiscal first quarter, the Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday, but it didn’t share projections for the full year, something it had previously done. Additionally, Chief Financial Officer John Dietrich said FedEx expects to see an additional $170 million cost in adjusted operating income this quarter due to Trump's tariffs.

24 House Republicans beg Senate to reverse 'especially problematic' move

Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) and 23 other House Republicans are pressing Senate GOP leadership to bring back key health savings account provisions that were recently dropped from their massive tax package, according to a new Politico report.

In a Monday letter, the group warned that cutting the HSA provisions, which would let people use their tax-advantaged accounts for more medical services and boost how much couples can contribute, sends the wrong message to working families.

'Disgusting': Outrage as dead congressman's social account  endorses candidate

The X account of the late Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-VA) was activated Tuesday to promote James Walkinshaw, Connolly's former chief of staff, in the primary to replace him, Axios reported.

"Early voting starts TODAY in VA-11!" said the post. "Before passing, Gerry endorsed @JamesWalkinshaw to carry the torch. Let’s honor that legacy and vote for bold leadership that’ll fight for us every day."

European plan to appease Trump risks accelerating 'social decay': economists

During a Tuesday afternoon, appearance on MSNBC, Ivo H. Daalder — president of the Chicago Council on Global Affairs and a former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations during Barack Obama's presidency — expressed fears that President Donald Trump is alienating the United States' allies at a time when the U.S. needs them the most. Daalder told MSNBC's Chris Jansing, "Allies make you strong…. Donald Trump, for 40 years, has not believed in alliances."

Daalder is not alone in worrying about the United States' longtime alliances, including alliances with fellow members of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). Although Trump is attending the 2025 NATO Summit in The Hague, Netherlands, fears that the U.S. has become unreliable are not uncommon in Europe — where governments are increasing their military budget and hoping that doing so will appease Trump.

'Disgusting human!' Nick Fuentes turns on fellow white nationalist MAGA ally

Once upon a time, far-right MAGA influencer Laura Loomer was a close ally of neo-Nazi "Groyper" activist Nick Fuentes — but the two are now completely estranged, and Fuentes wasted no words in a vulgar tirade against her posted Tuesday to X by Right Wing Watch.

It's a massive turnabout from 2022, when Fuentes enthusiastically endorsed Loomer's ultimately unsuccessful congressional campaign, saying, "This would be the first time that one of our own got into Congress."

'They'll cave': Dems ream 'so-called moderate' Republicans in profane statement

Democrats are fed up with perceived performative stances from moderate Republicans who are concerned that voting for President Donald Trump's massive spending and tax bill could cost them their seats during the 2026 primaries.

Sixteen House Republicans, all of whom represent competitive districts, sent a letter to party leadership on Tuesday calling on them to abandon the large-scale cuts to Medicaid included in the bill. Overall, Trump's bill seeks to cut more than $700 billion from Medicaid and impose requirements that Medicaid members work at least 20 hours per week to qualify for benefits.

DOJ slams judge's 'clear error' and fights release in wrongful deportation case

President Donald Trump's Department of Justice on Tuesday opposed the release of a migrant it already acknowledged was wrongly deported to El Salvador, and accused a magistrate judge of committing a “clear error.”

In March, Kilmar Abrego Garcia was mistakenly deported to the country despite a 2019 court order barring his removal due to fear of persecution. He was imprisoned without trial in a notorious maximum security prison and was subsequently criticized as an "administrative error." The Supreme Court delivered a confusing order that the government must "facilitate" his return.

‘Not a failure!’ Republican gets heated over CNN debunking Trump’s Iran claim

CNN reporter Phil Mattingly sparred with Rep. Mike Turner (R-OH) this afternoon over whether President Donald Trump's decision to bomb three Iranian nuclear facilities was successful.

Earlier in the day, CNN published a report suggesting that the campaign only set Iran's nuclear capabilities back by a few months. The report cited anonymous sources and a leaked Pentagon damage assessment report that appeared to undercut Trump's claims that the nuclear facilities were "OBLITERATED," as Trump claimed on Truth Social.

'Will not stop': Iran thumbs nose at Trump's nuclear 'obliteration' claim

Iran's government is trolling President Donald Trump by announcing its nuclear program is once again operational just days after the president ordered a strike on three of the country's nuclear facilities, The Daily Beast reported Tuesday evening.

"Two days after America controversially joined Israel to attack Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan, the core of Iran’s nuclear infrastructure, Iran has openly defied Trump by insisting that it is ready to restart its enrichment plans," reported Farrah Tomazin. Specifically, the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran has proclaimed in a statement, “The nuclear program of Iran will resume without interruption, and we are ready to restart enrichment; our program will not stop.”
