Hundreds of demonstrators from the Last Generation climate activist group blocked a major road in central Berlin on Saturday. The Straße des 17. Juni (Street of the 17th of June), which runs between the Victory Column and Berlin's iconic Brandenburg Gate next to the seat of Germany's parliament, is a major connection between Berlin's city centre and the western suburbs.
