Israel says it has killed the man in charge of air operations for the Islamist extremist group Hamas, describing him as one of the planners of the terrorist attacks on Israeli communities on October 7. Asem Abu Rakaba "directed the terrorists who infiltrated Israel on paragliders and was responsible for the drone attacks on IDF [Israel Defense Forces] posts," the military wrote on Telegram.
