WASHINGTON — Republicans are growing more and more frustrated with the House Oversight Committee's impeachment hearing, with some beginning to admit it has been a failure.

The Thursday hearing began with the Republicans' own witness, lawyer Jonathan Turley testifying that he doesn't believe there's enough evidence to impeach President Joe Biden.

Congressman Raskin, a former constitutional law professor who served as the lead prosecutor for the second impeachment of Donald Trump, told the Committee, "like flying monkeys on a mission for the Wicked Witch of the West, Trump's followers in the House now carry his messages out to the world: shut down the government, shutdown the prosecutions. But the cultmaster has another command for his followers, which brings us here today."

Rep. Bob Good (R-VA) lost his cool Thursday, calling MSNBC host Andrea Mitchell a liar when she fact-checked his allegations about President Joe Biden.

After using the GOP talking point about the "Biden Crime Family," Mitchell cut in to say that Good had no evidence of the claims he made and they were nothing more than accusations.

Lawrence Glickman, an historian at Cornell University, lobbed some sharp criticism at both the New York Times and the Washington Post for their coverage of former President Donald Trump's speech to autoworkers in Michigan on Wednesday night.

In particular, Glickman argued that the two papers did a disservice to their readers by not stating at the start of their articles that Trump's speech was delivered in front of a non-union audience rather than in front of United Auto Workers members who are the ones leading a strike for better wages.
