Republican leader Elise Stefanik secretly told GOP members Trump was a 'disaster' prone to 'dumb' decisions

Former President Donald Trump gave his blessing to Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) after Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) was removed from the House Republican leadership. But, behind closed doors, Stefanik was trashing Trump.

In Jan. 2022, Trump welcomed Stefanik to Mar-a-Lago and showered her with praise, even going so far as to say that in six years, she could become the first female president of the United States.

Biden said what we're all thinking: Ex-Defense Sec. calls Beltway out of touch on Putin

One improvisational line in President Joe Biden's Saturday speech in Poland brought criticisms from the right on the Sunday morning news shows. The Fox network hosts were disgusted to see Biden refer to Vladimir Putin as a "butcher" for killing at least 2,909 people, including children, according to the United Nations human rights office on Sunday. Meanwhile, Russia has kidnaped and removed over 2,000 children from Mariupol over the past weeks, according to President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Writing for USA Today, Jill Lawrence explained that Biden’s comment might end up being a good thing. "After all, we are all thinking exactly the same," she explained.

Lindsey Graham hints a GOP Senate would not consider another SCOTUS nominee before the 2024 presidential election

According to a report from the Washington Post, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) definitively said a Republican-majority Senate would not hold hearings for a President Joe Biden Supreme Court nominee in the 2024 election year and held out the possibility that no nominee would be considered at all if the GOP takes control of the Senate in November.

As the Post's Paul Kane is reporting, Graham has said a GOP-controlled Senate would invoke the so-called "Garland rule," a non-existent rule that Republicans used to keep current Attorney General Merrick Garland off the court after former President Barrack Obama's nominated him.

During Sunday's "Reliable Sources" panel hosted by Brian Stelter, Cupp was asked about the Thomas revelations and -- while agreeing the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas needs more scrutiny -- complained not enough attention is being paid to President Joe Biden's son.

Ukraine war puts US cities, states on cyber alert

President Joe Biden last week urged U.S. companies to be on high alert because of “evolving intelligence” that Russia is exploring options for potential cyberattacks against critical infrastructure targets. Even before Biden’s warning, state and local governments were busy shoring up their cybersecurity in response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the elevated threat of cyberattacks targeting the United States. Nearly two weeks before Russian troops poured over the border, the U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency issued a “Shields Up” warning about the growing threat. It...

Cory Booker says Justice Thomas should recuse himself on Trump election rulings

Justice Clarence Thomas, whose wife Ginni was actively involved in trying to overturn the 2020 presidential election won by Joe Biden, should be recusing himself from ruling on lawsuits challenging the results, U.S. Sen. Cory Booker said Sunday. Booker, a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, also called for an investigation into Ginni Thomas’ role in the Jan. 6 insurrection by supporters of Donald Trump. The New Jersey Democrat’s comments on NBC’s “Meet the Press” came in response to a Washington Post report that Ginni Thomas exchanged texts with then-White House Chief of Staff Mark Meado...

By Jarrett Renshaw and Natalia Zinets WARSAW/LVIV, Ukraine (Reuters) - U.S. President Joe Biden described Russian leader Vladimir Putin as a butcher who "cannot remain in power" after meeting Ukrainian refugees in Poland, as Kremlin forces stepped up attacks across Ukraine, including the western city of Lviv. Biden's comments, an escalation of U.S. rhetoric towards Moscow over its invasion of Ukraine, were not a call for regime change in Russia, a White House official said later, but meant to prepare the world's democracies for an extended conflict. Just before he spoke outside Warsaw's castle...
