GOP’s Kelly Loeffler mocked for trying to copy Stacey Abrams’ wildly successful voting rights group

On Monday, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that businesswoman and former U.S. Sen. Kelly Loeffler (R-GA) is launching a new group called the "Greater Georgia Organization," which will seek to promote "big tent" policies to boost Republican turnout and flip back the state after the GOP lost its presidential electors and both Senate seats.

Loeffler is billing the new organization as a Republican version of Fair Fight Action, the group founded by former state Senate Minority Leader and gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams that is broadly credited with producing the turnout necessary for Democrats to win the state.

The news prompted immediate mockery from commentators on social media, with many pointing out that Loeffler's campaign, far from being "big tent," leaned heavily into racism and Trump base pandering.
