Lengthy brawl breaks out during White Sox-Guardians game, leading to multiple ejections

CLEVELAND — A wild and lengthy brawl broke out between the Chicago White Sox and Cleveland Guardians in the sixth inning Saturday night at Progressive Field. Guardians third baseman José Ramírez doubled to right and slid headfirst into second, where Sox shortstop Tim Anderson applied the tag. The two exchanged words and then punches were thrown as the benches cleared.
