A federal agency that was led by a longtime friend of Jared Kushner, Donald Trump's son-in-law, received $100 million in Pentagon funds to help with the nation's COVID response — but has yet to spend any of the money, according to a government watchdog.

The Trump administration last year tapped the International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), an independent government agency that funds private development projects, to distribute $100 million in loans funded by the Pentagon through the CARES Act to "finance the domestic production of strategic resources needed to respond to the COVID-19 outbreak, and to strengthen any relevant domestic medical supply chains."

Amazon to pay $500,000 fine for 'concealing' COVID-19 cases from warehouse workers

The retail giant Amazon just will have to pay up after being sued by the state of California for "concealing" COVID-19 cases from its workers.

Axios reported Monday evening that California's new "right to know" law only will require the company to pay a $500,000 penalty. The law is supposed to help create better worker safety by demanding that employers inform their staffs and local health departments about the number of COVID-positive cases among their workers.

Judge orders Trump Org to turn over docs as New York AG accuses company of ‘hiding behind excuses’

New York Attorney General Letitia James, who is investigating the Trump Organization for allegedly manipulating the value of its assets, says the former president's company has been "hiding behind procedural delays and excuses" and failing to comply with her office's subpoenas for more than a year.

Now, in response to complaints from James' office, a New York state judge has ruled that if the Trump Organization doesn't comply with the subpoenas by next week, the company will have to hire an outside expert to search its documents.
