Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) erupted at President Donald Trump after his administration vetoed a bipartisan water pipeline project that would have delivered clean drinking water to more than 50,000 people in southeastern Colorado. In a blistering statement shared with reporter Kyle Clark, Boebert mocked Trump’s “America First” rhetoric and questioned why rural communities that repeatedly backed him were being punished. She also raised the possibility of political retaliation, noting the veto came shortly after she broke ranks to support forcing the release of the Jeffrey Epstein files. The unusually sharp rebuke underscores growing fractures inside MAGA world as Trump lashes out at even his most loyal allies.
