A Trump supporter got much more than he bargained for when he attended the Ashnikko concert at Hard Rock Live Orlando on Tuesday.
A viral TikTok video showed the crowd jeering and shouting him down for his MAGA hat, which devolved into vulgar chants of "[Expletive] Donald Trump! [Expletive] Donald Trump!" as the man tried to cover his face.
Commenters on Reddit had a field day after the incident was posted to r/PublicFreakout.
"I’m curious to know if he’s delusional about who/how many support trump or if he was hoping to goad someone into a physical altercation?" asked one commenter.
"Considering a MAGA police sgt in Phoenix tried to goad high school students into an altercation so he could beat them senseless....... yes," another replied.
Yet another commenter had a whole story to tell.
"I have a buddy who became a trumper and no one talks/hang out with anymore cause he turns literally any conversation political and it has gotten to the point where he gets so worked up he start to physically threaten people," said the commenter. "He said he would beat my friends a-- cause he told another friend to 'bring a bag of ice' to party. He took it as if they were making a jab at him and freaked the [expletive] out when they were talking about actual ice for drinks."
All around the country, Trump supporters often find themselves unwelcome in some spaces when they openly wear their support. In one 2018 incident, a Trump supporter was kicked out of a bar in Arizona for wearing a MAGA hat, despite her furious objections.
