QAnon-endorsing Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) on Tuesday unleashed a new big lie by claiming that the people who rioted at the United States Capitol building on January 6th were not really Trump supporters.

Writing on Twitter, Greene tried to make the case that the rioters couldn't have been Trump supporters because they "RUINED our objection that we spent weeks preparing for, which devastated our efforts on behalf of Trump and his voters."

In reality, most of the rioters had attended a Trump rally on January 6th in which he explicitly encouraged them to march to the Capitol building, where they would then riot while waving Trump flags and wearing red MAGA hats.

Additionally, subsequent indictments of many of the rioters make clear that they were at the Capitol to support Trump and they believed he wanted them to riot as a way to intimidate lawmakers into overturning the results of the 2020 election.

Many of Greene's followers replied to her by posting images of people who were very clearly Trump supporters taking part in the riots -- check out some replies below.
