Marjorie Taylor Greene rallies behind 'nonviolent' MAGA rioter shown on video assaulting cops

Georgia Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene on Saturday shared a letter written by jailed Captiol rioter Nathan DeGrave, in which he claims he was a "non violent" participant in the Jan. 6 insurrection.

In the letter, posted by his attorney on Twitter, DeGrave also claims that the military gear he wore to the Capitol was a "costume" for a documentary he was shooting. DeGrave called his letter — which was also published by the National Filed website — "a cry for help" due to "inhumane" conditions at the D.C. jail, which he compared to Guantanamo Bay.
