Trump whisperer melts down at return of 'brain dead' McConnell: 'Wheeling a corpse around'

Former Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell's return to the Senate floor was greeted with a great deal of relief by his colleagues, but not by one person who seems to have President Donald Trump’s ear.

The Kentucky Republican, who was already slated to step down from the seat he has held since 1985, was wheeled onto the floor of the Senate, where he last voted on June 11 before he suffered a medical emergency involving a fall at his home.

While there have been questions about the extent of his decline, so-called “Trump whispererLaura Loomer went off on a furious tirade on X, where she has 1.9 million followers, while sharing a short video clip of McConnell in his wheelchair nestled in a transport van.

In her post, she wrote, “Like I said, Mitch is brain dead. You can’t look at his face and say he’s not a vegetable. He’s not even responding to cognition tests. It’s like wheeling a corpse around. Worse than what the Democrats did with Joe Biden to be honest. He looks incapacitated.”

“Brain dead,” she insisted.

She received pushback from author Christopher Aldana, who replied, “This video is misleading. There are plenty of videos showing him on the floor of the Senate shaking hands, smiling, and communicating. He’s not well, but just admit, like I have, that your source was wrong, Laura. He’s not brain dead.”
