MSNBC's Joe Scarborough grew impatient with Senator Chuck Schumer Monday morning during an interview about Trump's Iran war strategy, snapping "you don't understand me," and "you're not listening to me."

Scarborough pressed Schumer on whether degrading Iran's military infrastructure is beneficial, while Schumer repeatedly deflected to discuss broader economic consequences, including Strait of Hormuz closure and surging gas prices.

Scarborough insisted on separating military from political considerations, arguing the military degradation of Iran's capabilities is objectively positive while the political ramifications remain questionable. Schumer countered that Americans face a choice between military success and economic collapse, with potential recession and job losses.

The exchange highlighted tensions between Democratic leadership and media figures over how to frame the war's costs and benefits. Schumer faces ongoing pressure from within his party regarding his leadership position.
