On a Tuesday episode of her podcast, attorney and journalist Katie Phang unloaded on Will Scharf, who's currently serving as staff secretary but is set to take over as the White House counsel on September 1. She described Scharf as having "had a history of being a little bit dubious" as Trump's former personal lawyer.

One of the most conservative members of the Supreme Court has raked in millions from an industry he's ruled in favor of in previous cases, according to a new analysis.

The Guardian reported on Tuesday that Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito has made up to $2.9 million from "fossil fuel interests" while he's been on the court. He made that money while also signing onto rulings that slashed environmental regulations, the analysis found.
