OAN slaps giant legal disclaimer on MyPillow CEO's election conspiracy special
Mike Lindell (CSPAN/screen grab)

Trump-loving One America News is airing a special the touts conspiracy theories being peddled by MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell -- but not before slapping it with a giant legal disclaimer.

Just before the start of Lindell's election fraud conspiracy special, OAN posted a lengthy statement emphasizing that the special is not based on OAN's own reporting at all and is completely the product of Lindell.

"Mr. Lindell is the sole author and executive producer of this program and is solely and exclusively responsible for its content," OAN stated. "The topic of this broadcast is the 2020 election. OAN has undertaken its own reporting on this topic. This program is not the product of OAN's reporting."

The statement does not stop there either and takes special pains to distance OAN from claims that Lindell is making about Dominion Voting Systems, which has filed multibillion-dollar defamation lawsuits against Lindell, as well as former Trump lawyers Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell.

"OAN does not adopt or endorse any statements or opinions in this program regarding the following entities or people: US Dominion Inc. (and any related entities); Smartmatic USA Corp.; Brian Kemp; Brad Raffensperger; or Gabriel Sterling," the disclaimer reads. "Further, the statements and claims expressed in this program are presented at this time as opinions only and are not intended to be taken or interpreted by the viewer as established facts."
