Former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley (R) comment's about Donald Trump in a Politico interview released on Friday -- -- where she claimed it was a mistake to "follow him " -- set off an avalanche of criticism of the former South Carolina governor for bailing on the ex-president now that he has been made to look worse than ever by videos shown at his second impeachment trial.
With many questioning the curious timing of releasing the interview that took place back in mid-January, others accused Haley of trying to clean up her reputation after whole-heartedly backing Trump for the past four years.
As one commenter pointed out to Haley: "Too little, too late."
